1. Who we are
This website (mantek.io) is operated by ManTek Technologies ("we", "us", "our"), the trading name of MANTEK TECHNOLOGIES L.L.C-FZ, a free-zone limited liability company licensed by Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (licence no. 2528585.01).
This policy describes how we handle personal information you share with us through this website. It applies to www.mantek.io and any subdomain we serve from it.
If you have a question about this policy, want to exercise your rights, or want us to delete or correct information we hold about you, email privacy@mantek.io. We aim to respond within 30 days.
2. Information we collect
We keep this short on purpose. Here's everything we collect:
Information you give us through the contact form.
When you fill in the contact form on /contact, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The topic you select ("I'm interested in")
- Your organisation or website (optional)
- The message you write
Anti-spam check.
The form contains a hidden "honeypot" field that legitimate visitors leave blank. We don't store the contents of that field.
Aggregate analytics.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled on this site. It records anonymous page-level statistics (e.g., which pages are viewed, country, referrer) using a privacy-preserving beacon injected by Cloudflare at the edge. It does not use cookies, does not persistently record IP addresses, and does not identify individual visitors.
Server logs.
When you visit any page, the server delivering it (Cloudflare) automatically receives standard request information (your IP address, user-agent, the URL you requested, and a timestamp) to deliver the response and to protect against abuse. We do not store or process those logs ourselves.
We do not:
- Set cookies or other tracking storage on your device.
- Use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or other marketing trackers.
- Use session-replay or heatmap tools (e.g., Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar).
- Build profiles of visitors.
- Sell personal information to anyone.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you give us through the contact form to:
- Respond to your enquiry. That's the primary purpose.
- Have follow-up conversations if the discussion continues by email or otherwise.
- Keep an internal record of who reached out, what about, and what we said back, so we don't lose context if the conversation continues weeks or months later.
We use the aggregate Cloudflare analytics to understand which pages people find interesting, in aggregate, so we know where to improve the site.
4. Legal basis
We rely on the following legal bases under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) ("UAE PDPL") and, where it applies to you, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"):
- Your consent when you submit the contact form (you choose to send us your details).
- Our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry and operating this website securely and reliably.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@mantek.io; this won't affect processing that has already taken place.
6. Sub-processors
We rely on these service providers to operate this website. Each is bound by a data processing agreement (or equivalent contractual protections):
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) hosts the website (Cloudflare Pages), routes DNS, runs the contact form's serverless endpoint, and provides aggregate analytics.
- Resend, Inc. (United States) delivers the email we send to our team when you submit the contact form. Resend does not store the body of these emails beyond what is required to deliver them.
- Zoho Corporation (worldwide; servers in multiple regions) hosts the inbox that receives those emails ( info@mantek.io, privacy@mantek.io and related aliases).
These sub-processors process personal information on our instructions and in line with their own published security and privacy commitments.
7. International data transfers
ManTek Technologies is based in the United Arab Emirates. The sub-processors listed above store and process information in various regions, including the United States and the European Union. Where personal information leaves the UAE or the EEA, we rely on:
- the appropriate safeguards required under the UAE PDPL, including transfers to jurisdictions recognised as providing adequate protection or under contractually equivalent measures;
- the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA to the United States, where applicable.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep contact-form submissions for 24 months from your most recent meaningful interaction with us. If we are actively engaged on a related project, we keep the related correspondence for the duration of that engagement and 24 months after it ends, long enough to deal with any follow-up questions, but not indefinitely.
After that window, we delete the records (the email thread in our inbox and any internal notes) unless we are required to retain them for a longer period under applicable law (for example, tax or accounting rules).
Aggregate analytics statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics are retained according to Cloudflare's own policies and contain no personally identifying information.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you have rights over the personal information we hold about you. These typically include:
- Access: ask us what information we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- Correction: ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion: ask us to delete information ("right to be forgotten" under GDPR; "right to erasure" under UAE PDPL).
- Restriction: ask us to pause processing while we deal with a dispute or correction.
- Portability: receive your information in a structured, commonly used format.
- Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw consent you previously gave us, at any time.
- Complaint: lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office, your local EU supervisory authority, the UK ICO, or your equivalent national regulator if you believe we have mishandled your information.
These rights apply to information about you personally. They do not give you a right to information that identifies other people.
10. How to exercise your rights
Email privacy@mantek.io with the request. Tell us:
- What you would like us to do (access, correction, deletion, etc.).
- Enough information for us to identify the records. For most people this is the email address you used when you contacted us.
We aim to respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, especially for deletion. If your request is unusually complex or repetitive, the law permits us to extend the response window or, in narrowly defined cases, decline; if that happens we will explain why.
11. Children's privacy
This website is intended for an adult business audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, email privacy@mantek.io and we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example, to reflect a new sub-processor or a change in the law. The "Last updated" date at the top will always show when we last revised it. Material changes will be highlighted on the site for a reasonable period after they take effect.
13. Governing law
This policy and any dispute arising under it are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, the laws of the Emirate of Dubai, and the regulations of Meydan Free Zone, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts.
